Temperature rise is a global phenomenon and is not limited
to any specific region. However, it is true that some regions, including many
parts of Asia, have been experiencing higher temperature increases than the
global average.
According to a report by the Asian Development Bank, the
average temperature in Asia has increased by about 1 degree Celsius since
pre-industrial times, which is higher than the global average. This temperature
rise has led to more frequent and intense heatwaves, droughts, and extreme
weather events in many parts of the continent.

Some of the factors contributing to the temperature rise in
Asia include rapid urbanization, industrialization, and deforestation, as well
as the global increase in greenhouse gas emissions. The effects of temperature
rise are wide-ranging and include impacts on agriculture, water resources,
human health, and biodiversity.
To address this issue, many countries in Asia, including China, India, and Japan, have committed to reducing their greenhouse gas emissions and transitioning to cleaner energy sources. There are also various regional initiatives and agreements, such as the Paris Agreement and the ASEAN Agreement on Transboundary Haze Pollution, aimed at addressing climate change and mitigating its impacts.
